The Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will battle it out against the Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the Eliminator of the 2026 Indian Premier League (IPL) at the Maharaja
Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in New Chandigarh on Wednesday, May 27. The winner of the game will play the side which loses Qualifier 1 for a chance to compete in the showpiece final in Ahmedabad on Sunday.
The sides have already faced each other twice this season, with SRH coming out on top in both of those matches. This includes a convincing 57-run victory in Hyderabad, before a five-wicket win in Jaipur towards the end of April.
The Sunrisers will be looking to reach their second IPL final in three years and win their first title since 2016. RR, on the other hand, last reached the final in 2022, losing to the Gujarat Titans. The Royalshave not tasted IPL success since winning the inaugural tournament back in 2008.
