GT captain Shubman Gill won the toss and decided to bowl first. He said that the pitch at the venue tends to support pacers early on, leading him to bowl first. The hosts did not make any changes to their playing XI from the last game. Rajat Patidar, too, mentioned that he would have fielded first.
