Experienced wicketkeeper-batter Quinton de Kock has reversed his retirement call from One-Day Internationals, and has been included in South Africa's ODI
squad for the upcoming series against Pakistan. Notably, de Kock has also made a return to the T20I set-up, earning call-ups for the T20I leg of the series and for the one against Namibia as well.
For the unversed, de Kock last played an ODI during the 2023 World Cup, coming in the semi-final against Australia at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata. His latest T20I appearance came during the heartbreak of the T20 World Cup final loss against India in June 2024 at Bridgetown, Barbados. Nevertheless, the 32-year-old will be looking to prove his worth at the international level once again.
