After an exhilarating amount of cricket in the league stage of the season, the Canada Super 60 League 2026 has moved on to the business end, where the Mississauga
Masters (MM) will take on the Toronto Sixers (TS) in Semi-Final 1 on Monday, October 05, at the BC Place Stadium, located in Vancouver.
The Mississauga Masters absolutely dominated their five games in the league stage of the tournament. Now, they will look to continue their winning momentum and pick up an easy win on Monday to make it through to the final. Their last league game was against the Kieron Pollard-led franchise, where they won comprehensively to stay unbeaten throughout.
The Toronoto Sixers, on the other hand, have made it to the semi-finals courtesy of the four points they collected after a couple wins out of their five matches. They have looked good in patches, but lack of unison has resulted in the three losses. Nonetheless, they need one good performance to make it to the finals and will be putting up a challenge against the Sikandar Raza-led team, bringing their best on display.

BC Place Stadium, Vancouver: Pitch Report
The majority of the league-stage matches played at the BC Place Stadium, Vancouver, in the Canada Super 60 2026 went in favour of the chasing teams. The fifth day of the tournament, however, was a different story, with all three matches being won by the team defending the total. Nonetheless, it does not change the fact that the pitch has changed its nature. A similar, high-scoring encounter is expected to be on the cards and opting to bowl first should still be the go-to option.

MM vs TS: Probable Best Performers of the Match
Probable Best Batter: Alex Lees
With a couple of half-centuries to his name already, Alex Lees has been one of the best performers with the bat for his side. In fact, the England batter is also the highest run-getter of the season with 144 runs across five innings, which includes a match-winning 70 in the recent game against the same opposition, helping his side win by a mammoth 92-run margin.
Probable Best Bowler: David Wiese
David Wiese has been one of the biggest reasons why the Mississauga Masters enjoyed a brilliant run in their league-stage campaign. He had been providing vital contributions with the bat and has now also picked up nine wickets in the five games to be the joint-highest wicket-taker of the ongoing season. A lot will depend on how Wiese's two overs fare in the do-or-die clash on Monday.
