After a riveting victory for the hosts in the series opener, Ireland (IRE) will be up against India (IND) for the second T20I, also the last encounter
of the series, on Sunday, June 28, at the Civil Service Cricket Club in Stormont, Belfast.
Ireland got off to a flying start to the series, defeating the reigning T20 World Cup winners by a comfortable margin in the first match. This was a historic victory for the Irishmen, marking their first win against the Men in Blue in international cricket. Now, they would absolutely love to add to it and make the end sweeter with an aim to clinch the series.
India, on the other hand, did not play like world champions at all and looked out of place. Apart from Abhishek Sharma's 50 off 20, none of the batters looked settled at the crease. A collapse in the top four means that Shreyas Iyer might finally give a chance to Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, helping the latter make his debut for the Indian team in a must-win encounter, which can save them from a shambolic series defeat.
