The Women's Premier League 2027 player auction is set to take place on October 28, 2026, in Kochi. A total of 146 players have registered for the auction,
yet only 27 slots are available across the five franchises, making competition for places exceptionally intense.
Several Indian players are expected to draw significant interest from franchises looking to strengthen their squads ahead of the new season. Experienced campaigners and those seeking a fresh start alike could prompt competitive bidding.
Here are five Indian players worth watching when the auction begins:
5. Titas Sadhu
Titas Sadhukickstarts this list of Indian players who could attract competitive bidding at the WPL 2027 auction. A right-arm fast bowler, Sadhu brings pace and new-ball skills, qualities that franchises often prioritise when assembling a balanced T20 attack.
With a base price of ₹30 lakh, Sadhu's international exposure could strengthen her case in the auction room. Franchises looking to add depth to their Indian pace-bowling department may find her an appealing option, particularly given the value of having a reliable new-ball option built around overseas players.
4. Saika Ishaque
Saika Ishaqueis a left-arm spinner who has previously shown wicket-taking ability in the WPL, making her an interesting name for franchises seeking a specialist bowler. Left-arm spin offers a different angle to a bowling attack, and her capacity to take wickets through the middle overs holds particular value in T20 cricket.
Teams looking to improve their spin-bowling depth could consider bringing Ishaque into their squads. Her prior experience in the competition could work in her favour, especially with franchises that want a bowler already familiar with the demands of the WPL.
3. Sneh Rana
Sneh Rana's experience and all-round abilities could make her an attractive target at the WPL 2027 auction. The Indian international offers off-spin bowling alongside the ability to contribute useful runs in the lower order, giving franchises added flexibility when assembling their combinations.
Listed at a base price of ₹30 lakh, Rana returns to the auction pool as a released player after Delhi Capitals let her go ahead of this cycle. Teams reassessing their need for a dependable Indian all-rounder with high-pressure match experience could direct their bids towards her.
2. Kiran Navgire
Kiran Navgire is a capped Indian batter with a base price of ₹40 lakh who could attract considerable attention because of her aggressive approach at the crease. Known for her power-hitting ability, Navgire can provide an attacking presence at the top or in the middle order.
Franchises frequently seek batters capable of shifting the momentum of a T20 innings within a short period, and Navgire's profile fits that requirement. Released by UP Warriorz ahead of this auction, she enters the pool as a player several teams may look to add to their Indian batting contingent.
1. G. Kamalini
G. Kamaliniis a wicketkeeper-batter who could be among the more closely watched names at the WPL 2027 auction. Her ability to contribute with the gloves while also adding runs to the batting unit gives franchises a degree of flexibility when building their playing combinations.
With a base price of ₹40 lakh, Kamalini is listed as a capped Indian player. If multiple franchises identify her as a long-term prospect, bidding could rise well above her base price on auction day.
