At Neptune, Voyager discovered the Great Dark Spot, another large storm system, and confirmed the existence of supersonic winds. It also provided detailed images of Triton, Neptune's largest moon, revealing its icy surface, geysers, and possible subsurface ocean.
The journey beyond Saturn revealed details of the two ice giants, which were not very easy to see from such a distance. The discoveries were important findings in the understanding of planet formation and the atmosphere, and so this added a lot to our findings.
