Navigating Reduced Operations
Due to ongoing restrictions impacting regional airspace, Emirates is currently implementing a modified flight schedule. The airline is committed to prioritizing
passenger safety above all else, assuring that no compromises will be made in this regard as services are gradually restored. Operations are proceeding with caution, and adjustments to the flight plan are being continuously assessed in response to evolving developments. Passengers are strongly advised to remain vigilant and actively monitor their flight status, even after initial check-in procedures, as last-minute alterations to schedules are a possibility. Ensuring your contact information is current with the airline is crucial for receiving timely notifications regarding any potential delays, cancellations, or rescheduling of flights. It is recommended to regularly check Emirates' official website and your email inbox for the latest updates before commencing your journey to the airport.
Flexible Rebooking & Refunds
For travelers whose flights were affected by disruptions between February 28 and April 15, Emirates is offering considerable flexibility. You have the option to rebook your journey onto an alternative Emirates flight bound for the same destination, with travel now permitted up to May 31. Alternatively, if you prefer not to travel, you can request a full refund. It's important to note that Emirates recommends completing any rebooking before proceeding with a refund, as any unused portions of an itinerary will be automatically canceled and refunded. If you booked your ticket through a travel agent, please reach out to them for assistance. For bookings made directly with Emirates, you can contact the airline through their official channels.
Managing Your Booking Online
Emirates strongly encourages passengers to leverage their online platforms, including the official website and mobile application, for efficient management of their bookings. Through these digital channels, you can diligently track any modifications to your travel itinerary, review and accept alternative flight offers presented by the airline, or select new flight options within a 72-hour window before your scheduled departure. Furthermore, you have the ability to review and adjust various services associated with your booking, such as meal preferences and seat selections. The current travel waiver permits travelers to make an extensive number of changes – up to nine – with this flexibility valid until April 30.
Suspended City Check-In
Please be aware that Emirates has temporarily suspended all city check-in services across Dubai until further notice. This measure is in place as part of the adjustments to operations. However, passengers can still receive in-person assistance at select locations. These include Emirates retail stores situated within Dubai and at Terminal 3 of Dubai Airport. As the travel landscape continues to evolve, maintaining flexibility and staying closely informed about official updates is paramount, as flight schedules may undergo modifications with little advance warning.
