Hrithik's Chapati Feasts
Renowned fitness trainer Mustafa Ahmed, who has also ventured into acting with 'Dhurandhar 2', shared some astonishing insights into the eating capabilities
of Bollywood's fittest stars. He pointed out that Hrithik Roshan, often perceived as a strict dieter, is actually a significant foodie. Ahmed recounted witnessing Hrithik consume an impressive 13 to 14 ghee-laden chapatis in one sitting. The only reason he stopped, Ahmed amusingly noted, was the delay in serving the next chapati, highlighting an immense appetite and a robust metabolism that likely aids in maintaining his physique despite such hearty meals. This revelation challenges the conventional image of fitness icons always adhering to restrictive diets.
Vicky's Digestion Superpower
Mustafa Ahmed also elaborated on the unique metabolism of Vicky Kaushal, whom he was slated to train for the ambitious project 'Ashwatthama'. Ahmed described Vicky's digestive system with a colorful analogy, stating, 'Vicky Kaushal can eat a brick and digest it.' This hyperbolic description underscores the actor's extraordinary ability to seemingly consume anything without adverse effects. Ahmed explained that it's incredibly challenging to help Vicky gain weight or muscle, implying that his body efficiently processes everything he eats. This remarkable metabolic rate means Vicky can enjoy a wide variety of foods, making him a true enigma in the world of fitness and diet management.
Yami & Ranveer's Cravings
Beyond Hrithik and Vicky, Mustafa Ahmed also shed light on the dietary preferences of other prominent actors. Yami Gautam, for instance, is revealed to be a lover of traditional Indian comfort food, particularly cherishing her chai and homemade meals. On a different note, Ranveer Singh has a peculiar and undeniable knack for locating Nutella, a testament to his sweet tooth. Ahmed humorously noted that Ranveer could 'sniff it out' from anywhere, indicating a strong craving for the popular chocolate-hazelnut spread. These insights offer a more human and relatable glimpse into the lives of these stars, showing their individual indulgences.
Ranveer's Beastly Transformation
Ranveer Singh's significant physical transformation for his role in 'Dhurandhar' was heavily influenced by his love for food and the directorial vision. According to Mustafa Ahmed, director Aditya Dhar instructed that Ranveer needed to embody a 'beast' on screen without appearing rigid. This presented a challenge given the tight schedule and Ranveer's initial weight of 75-76 kgs. By the first day of shooting, he had bulked up to 87 kgs, necessitating a substantial increase in food intake. Ahmed described training Ranveer as a 'treat', emphasizing the actor's high energy and enjoyment of weight training, famously exclaiming, 'Sir, loha todte hain' (Sir, we break iron). This rigorous routine, involving two daily training sessions for four to five weeks, was crucial in achieving Ranveer's formidable on-screen presence.
