Users simply navigate to 'Content Detection,' then select 'Likeness,' and click 'Start Now.' The system requires explicit permission to utilize likeness detection and involves a one-time identity verification step to ensure account security. After the initial setup, YouTube's scanning mechanisms commence their background operation, actively searching for AI-generated or altered videos that might feature the creator's likeness.
