UMANG App Convenience
For easy access on your mobile device, the UMANG app offers a centralized platform for various government services, including EPF management. After a quick
one-time registration using your phone number, you can seamlessly view your EPF passbook, initiate claims, and even track their status directly through the app. This user-friendly application simplifies keeping tabs on your provident fund contributions and savings, bringing essential financial information right to your fingertips.
EPFO Portal Access
The official EPFO portal provides a robust way to view your Provident Fund details. To utilize this service, your Universal Account Number (UAN) must be activated by your employer. Once active, you can log in to the dedicated member passbook section at https://passbook.epfindia.gov.in/MemberPassBook/Login.jsp using your UAN and password. From here, you can download or print your EPF passbook, offering a detailed record of your contributions. It's important to note that this facility is not available for members of establishments managed by exempted trusts; in such cases, you'll need to contact your employer directly for your statement.
SMS Alert Service
Stay updated on your PF balance and latest contributions through a simple SMS. If your UAN is registered with EPFO, send an SMS from your registered mobile number to 7738299899 in the format 'EPFOHO UAN ENG'. You can replace 'ENG' with the first three letters of your preferred language from the 10 available options (Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Bengali, and Punjabi). Ensure your UAN is linked with your Aadhaar, PAN, and bank account for this service to function correctly. Your employer can assist if these details are not yet seeded.
Missed Call Facility
For those who prefer a direct call, a missed call can provide your EPF balance details instantly. Simply dial 011-22901406 from the mobile number registered with your UAN. This service is entirely free of charge. Similar to other methods, it requires your UAN to be activated and linked with your Aadhaar, PAN, and bank account details. If these are not updated, your employer can help you with the necessary seeding process.
