Priyadarshan Reveals If Mohanlal And Akshay Kumar Will Ever Be Together In A Film

In a recent interview, he addressed whether Mohanlal and Akshay Kumar would ever be cast together in a film, a question fans have often wondered about, given their immense popularity and strong screen presence. The director, known for blending comedy, drama, and emotion seamlessly, offered an insightful perspective on how casting decisions are ultimately driven by the script rather than chasing star collaborations.

Will Akshay Kumar and Mohanlal Share Screen Space?

Speaking to Pinkvilla, Priyadarshan said: "I don't want to say, if you ask about Mohanlal is there in that film but what he is I don't want to say now. It's not that because every time what excites me is a film I'm making, I never think of the actors. First is a script, then the actors come. So you can never plan, you can't say I'll make a film with Mohanlal and Akshay Kumar together, you will never get a script. Whenever you get a script, whoever is the right cast, go behind that. After Khatta Meetha (2010), the duo recently wrapped the horror-comedy Bhoot Bangla and are also committed to the much-anticipated Hera Pheri 3 with Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal. However, production timelines for the comedy are yet to be finalized.
