Sahher Bambba Shares Hilarious Anecdote From The Ba***ds Of Bollywood Set
The first episode of The Ba***ds Of Bollywood, which features a Sameer Wankhede lookalike, ends with a disclaimer that states 'Say No To Drugs' making fans believe it was Khan's answer to all the accusations and controversies against him. Shedding light on the scene, Sahher told News18 Showsha how the whole cast 'cracked up' when they read the bit in screenplay. Recalling the roundtable session, Sahher said, "That was the first time all the cast members were going through the script collectively. Usse pehle, we didn’t have the script. At the reading, we were cracking up! It was too funny. After every third line and within each scene, there was some or the other joke or witty stuff. Even on set, we would be laughing in between cuts." Further, revealing her most favourite character, Bambba added, "Shoumik is my most favourite character. He isn’t based on any actor and is a totally fictional character. I haven’t met anyone like him! When I was reading about this role in the script, I remember constantly asking Aryan ki kisko cast kar rahe ho. It’s such an interesting character and I was too curious to know who’s playing it. Divik (Sharma) is the total opposite of Shoumik. He’s sweet, very reserved and quiet, but he played it so well. Everyone is like, who’s this guy?"
Sahher Lauds Aryan Khan, Calls Him 'Witty'
Sahher also went on to praise debutant director Aryan Khan's sense of humour and shared, "He’s very witty. He’ll have the most unexpected joke ready. He’s already thinking ten steps ahead of everyone. There so many self-deprecating jokes in the show where he’s taking a dig at himself, like the Maheep Kapoor and Shanaya Kapoor red carpet scene where she tells her to smile and not behave like Aryan." "He would say something randomly while filming and I would start laughing and it would turn into a ten-minute long laughing fit. Then he would go, ‘Okay, let’s stop laughing now. We need to continue with the shoot.’ In fact, everyone in the show has taken jokes on themselves. Kudos to Aryan and the whole team for writing such jokes!" she concluded. The show also stars Lakshay, Manoj Pahwa, Mona Singh, Manish Chaudhari, Raghav Juyal, Anya Singh, and Vijayant Kohli with Rajat Bedi and Gautami Kapoor. Salman Khan, Karan Johar, and Ranveer Singh have also made special appearances in Aryan Khan’s show. The Ba***ds of Bollywood is currently streaming on Netflix.
