who has no qualms of living a pompous life, wasting his superstar father's (Bobby Deol) money, and firing up thinks in the house for his excitement and pleasure. Whenever he appears on screen, you know he'll bring some tension to the plot. Infact his character creates enough conflict in the story, which mostly leaves the screenplay on a high, with twists and unexpected turns, the most striking one being in the last shot of the entire show (IYKYK). Divik's character has managed to generate ripples and grab enough attention from the viewers, who've loved to hate him.
As per sources on the internet, The Ba***ds Of Bollywood seems to be Divik's first acting outing. Until now, he's worked on several projects as an assistant. Viewers loved to hate Divik Sharma's Shaumik
While netizens have flooded social media raising a toast for Divik's performance, many even claimed he was the real "villain" of The Ba***ds Of Bollywood. A viewer wrote on X (formerly Twitter), "Every time this character appeared on screen, I wanted to punch his face so hard. He's the most creepiest and irritating character ever. This is a sign of a great actor."Another user took a jibe. "everybody is talking about his rude and aggressive behavior but nobody is talking about how everyone invaded his privacy.. Walking into his room like it's a public toilet. #TheBadsOfBollywood," they wrote.A post read, "Dont think this kid is based on any one specific star kid. He is probably an amalgamation of the star kids AND general rich kids that Aryan knows who dont want to be in the spotlight so dont put a cap on their arrogant attitude." Another post stated, "He is like a mix of every producer I feel. Only the actual cameos were themselves, rest felt like a mix of things. That Vastav actor felt like a Kartik Aryan inspiration just because he was cast in franchise and used his first name."A fan lauded Aryan for the smart writing. "Aryan trolled the entire industry and then invited them all to participate in it. It's a very ballsy project because it doesn't hold back, and only a star kid with SRK's influence and connection could have pull this off and not get attacked by everyone. It's an insane show. I am sure not all of it is "real" but it feels too close to home to be not," they said.
Netizens think Shaumik was based on Ahaan Panday
Many went to the degree of stating that the character of Shaumik was inspired by Saiyaara fame Ahaan Panday. They believe it is because of the resemblance he bears to the current heartthrob actor, which Aryan used to take a dig at his friend, Ahaan.A post on Reddit has been doing the rounds asking users to opine whether they find the Ahaan connection. Fans are matching the traits and looks. A post said, "Was he playing ahaan panday in the bastards of bollywood."Another one claimed, "Don’t know what he played but guy did an amazing job. Every time boy was on screen, I got irritated ( as I was supposed to)."The Ba***ds Of Bollywood
