Singer and music composer Amaal Mallik's father, Daboo Malik, recently opened up about the challenges of his illustrious journey in the industry during a recent interview. During the chat, Daboo also revealed

the reason behind teaching his son Amaal the art of self-control. He revealed an old anecdote where he was at a YRF event, and a cameraperson abused him in front of kids Armaan and Amaal, and how he calmly handled the situation at the time.

In a recent interview with Siddharth Kannan, Daboo Malik shared how sometimes in life, self-control is important, which he is also teaching son Amaal. He shared in Hindi, "There is one thing that I sometimes feel, that in life self-control is very important. Which I's teaching Amal now. Of course he is still Big Boss. I hope he can maintain his balance and anger and play the game well."

Daboo Malik reveals how cameraperson abused him at YRF event

He went on to give an example of self control and recalled, " There was huge YRF event was going and a team was doing interviews. I didn't about so I their camera's axis and left while shooting. They were actually shooting some serious stuff. It's a very old story. It's a in between when Amal Armaan was The cameraman and crew were very abusive with me. They spoke very badly and Armaan and Amaal were standing there, they were shocked how I was being treated. I just took my hand and told them, don't you dare get into this. I told the man and camera crew, I'm sorry and I did and he was abusive. And I left."Daboo Malik added, "If I started you don't who I am, what kind of background I havem and I would've started abusing then me there won't be any difference between me and him. About that thing on the internet, a legacy family member, hearing abuses and such things he kept his self-control. And that time, it was about my father and children's respect. I didn't want to expose myself as a cheap person. This is something I tell myself, it is to learn that we should go back to that time."

Daboo Malik reveals the cameraperson apologised

Daboo shared that the person apologised later, "After that the cameraperson had such condition, when they came to know that I'm Daboo Malik, and belong to a family of musicians and all that. I told them you were doing your duty and I don't want to accept what you said. But it's okay. I don't want to carry that. I think that is something one should learn."
