Speaking candidly with host Amitabh Bachchan, Rishab revealed that he was far from a bright student during his school days. “I was a below-average student. I failed in 5th standard,” he shared. He also recalled a memorable meeting with superstar Rajinikanth, one that left a lasting impression on him. “He wanted to meet me after the film, but I didn’t know when. The production house informed me suddenly, and I didn’t even get a chance to wear a veshti. When I met him, I still regret that he was in veshti and I was in jeans,” Rishab added.During the episode, Rishab reminisced about his earlier visit to Amitabh Bachchan’s house for dubbing a children’s film that had won a National Award. “I saw Jaya ji and also all your awards displayed,” he said. To this, Amitabh rectified, “Those are not all of mine. There are three to four people in the house whose awards are there.”
Rishab then expressed admiration for Amitabh’s habit of writing letters to actors, saying it would be an honour to receive one someday. Amitabh warmly responded, “Firstly, I must apologise for not having seen your films yet... But my daughter Shweta went to see Kantara, and she couldn’t sleep for a few days. She was blown away by your performance, especially the last scene.”Kantara Chapter 1 is currently running successfully in theatres.
