Dhar’s Echoes Of Valour was screened at the Venice Film Festival 2025 after its debut at the Cannes Film Festival. Starring Divya Dutta, Neeraj Kabi and Rishabh Sawhney, the film is a biopic of Shukla Bandopadhyay, the mother of an Indian Army soldier. After its premiere at the Venice Film Festival 2025, Rishabh spoke to Zoom exclusively about the movie and why he chose to do it.

Rishabh Sawhney got stereotyped after Fighter

In an exclusive interview with us, Rishabh revealed that he was stereotyped after the success of Fighter, in which he played the role of Azhar Akhtar, the antagonist. He said, “People form a perception after the success of a role. Post Fighter, 8 to 10 films were offered to me, and all of them were of the antagonist. I was particular about the fact that the next film I did was different. In Fighter, Azhar Akhtar was against the country; I am defending the nation in Echoes Of Valour.”On September 2, Rishabh shared pictures from the Venice Film Festival 2025 on Instagram and wrote, “Surreal feeling being a part of a film being screened at the @labiennale .
