As his convoy moved through a sea of supporters in Bhavnagar, a little boy stood respectfully and saluted the Prime Minister. Spotting the child, PM Modi returned the gesture with a salute of his own.The boy's overjoyed reaction has since gone viral, with social media users calling it a "gem of a moment."Another special moment featured a girl presenting PM Modi with a handmade photo collage highlighting memorable stages of his life with his late mother, Heeraben Modi.
The collage presented by named Jasmika Bansal included images from PM Modi's childhood to recent years. Speaking to IANS, Jasmika said, "I have taken inspiration from his relationship with his mother." Later her mother, Richa Manish Bansal, thanked PM Modi for accepting the gift. "It’s a special moment for all of us," she said.Earlier in the day, PM Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of multiple development projects worth over Rs 34,200 crore under the ‘Samudra se Samriddhi’ initiative. These included Avaada Group's Rs 1,600-crore solar project.The 280 MW project spans over 1,170 acres in Tavi and Varsani villages in Surendranagar district of the state and entails a total investment of Rs 1,500 crore, the Vineet Mittal-led industrial house said in a statement.
