Vice President JD Vance To Host 'The Charlie Kirk Show' In His Honour On Monday—Check Timings

Vice President JD Vance announced that he will host 'The Charlie Kirk Show' from the White House on Monday to pay tribute to his late friend. In a post on social media platform X, Vance asked people to join him in honouring the conservative activist who was shot dead at a college in Utah last week."Tomorrow, I will have the honor of hosting the Charlie Kirk Show. Please join me as I pay tribute to my friend. 12:00PM ET," Vance wrote on X.The show will air at noon Eastern Time (ET), which is around 9:30 PM Monday IST.

'Charlie Kirk was a true friend': Vance
Vance and Kirk go way back. Sharing details of how they first came into contact, the Vice President said that in 2017, he appeared on Tucker Carlson's Fox show after which he receieved a DM from someone about how he did a "great job". "It was Charlie Kirk, and that moment of kindness began a friendship that lasted until today," Vance shared. He also revealed that Kirk was one of the first people he called when he thought about running for senate in early 2021. "We talked through everything, from the strategy to the fundraising to the grassroots of the movement he knew so well. Emotional scenes had unfolded in Arizona as Vance carried the casket of Kirk, just a day after the latter was shot. Kirk's mortal remains were borne onto Air Force Two with the Vice President, uniformed service members, and Kirk's grieving family by its side.A major figure in the MAGA movement, Charlie Kirk played a pivotal role in Trump's 2024 election victory, mobilising younger voters toward the Republican Party.
