granted bail by the Allahabad High Court and on Monday, the Rampur court also granted him bail in the last pending case, following which his release order was sent to the jail authorities.Soon after his release, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav gave a big statement, saying that all the “false cases” against Azam Khan would be withdrawn once the SP government comes to power in Uttar Pradesh.Akhilesh Yadav further claimed that BJP leaders had done the same in the past and his party would also follow the same once in power. “I would like to thank the court for this verdict. Azam Khan has got justice and we believe no false cases will now be lodged against him. Rampur BJP MLA and one officer in Rampur who is getting an extension will not do any injustice to him,” Yadav said.Samajwadi party Rampur MP, Ruchi Veera along with party workers received Azam Khan once he walked out of Sitapur jail. Khan will now be moving towards his home district Rampur.Azam Khan’s legal troubles started in 2019, when a hate speech case was filed against him ahead of the Lok Sabha elections.
