Lakshya on first meeting with Raghav Juyal
Speaking to Raj Shamani on his podcast, Lakshya revealed that the two actors are close, as well as good friends. They first met while filming for Nikhil Nagesh Bhat's action thriller Kill. He remembered, "It was our first night in Amritsar, and we were told not to talk to each other, because he was playing the villain and I was the hero. The same night only we went out to eat. Our director told us not to talk, but the producer didn't know. [Later] he was rehearsing a scene for morning. I was laughing with him, and like that we became friends. Then I realised that he's the same. His presentation is different, but deep down, we're the same guy. We have a lot of common ground." Lakshya continued, "I've learned a lot from him. 'Don't take yourself seriously. It's okay to make fun of yourself.' I was a proper actor at that time. It was my first film; my other two films were shut down. [I told myself] everything should land, Lakshya; if anything goes left or right, then this will also go out of hand. After a long time, you've got an opportunity; put everything in this. Then comes a guy, kuch farak nahin padh raha hai, ghoomta phirta aaye hai set ke upar . Don't take it so seriously; whatever has to happen will ultimately happen. Our friendship deepened. I learned from him, and he got to know me better. Now his friends are my friends, and my friends are his friends. Our group has become bigger. We meet like one big happy group. We all meet at each other's homes." The Ba**ds of Bollywood, also starring Bobby Deol, Sahher Bambba, Anya Singh, Manoj Pahwa, Manish Chaudhari, Rajat Bedi, and Mona Singh, is now streaming on Netflix.
