Frankenstein trailer teases Jacob Elordi's monster
The official account of the film posted on X, "There are two sides to every story. FRANKENSTEIN, a film by Guillermo del Toro, starring Oscar Isaac, Jacob Elordi, Mia Goth, and Christoph Waltz, is coming to select theaters October 17 and on Netflix November 7." The trailer opens as Elordi's Creature states, "My maker told his tale. And I will tell you mine."
Earlier the teaser had focused on Oscar Isaac’s Victor Frankenstein; the full trailer shows the Creature who awakens with memories of the men he was made of. In del Toro's film, the Crimean War plays a big role as Victor uses the bodies of the fallen soldiers to make the Creature. The latter has a bone to pick with his creator as he warns him, "If you are not to award me love, then I will indulge in rage."
