Sonam Kapoor, Anand Ahuja To Welcome Second Child Soon: Report

Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja are reportedly ready to embrace parenthood again. According to a report by Pinkvilla, the couple is gearing up to welcome their second child, and Sonam is in her second trimester.

The report further stated that an official announcement is expected by the Kapoors and Ahujas in the coming days. Sonam and Anand are proud parents to their first born, son Vayu.

Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja first met through friends when they tried to set them up with other people. But, the actress revealed she ended up talking to Anand the whole night as the two felt a connection. They soon started dating after Anand sent Sonam a Facebook friend request, thus making the first move. The two eventually got married in May 2018, and welcomed Vayu in August 2022.

Sonam spoke about Anand in a Filmfare interview dated 2020. She said, "She further added, “Sometimes, people believe that when they have similar interests, they can be together. No one would think of Anand and me together because Anand is totally different. He had no idea that Anil Kapoor was my father. I ended up speaking to Anand… the whole evening. Anand was trying to get me to talk to his friend… like being the middle man. But we ended up talking more."In an interview to Vogue, Anand shared, "The first time we met, we talked about our respective work. I was just struck by the fact that I could speak to her so openly about everything. We were chatting on Snapchat one night and she said, 'Stop texting, just call me.' And we spoke for two hours that night...
