Bachchan recently showed his support for his nephew, Agastya Nanda, who unveiled the first look of his upcoming film Ikkis. Directed by Sriram Raghavan and produced by Dinesh Vijan under Maddock Films, the movie is inspired by the life of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal, India’s youngest Param Vir Chakra recipient.

Sharing the posters on his Instagram stories, Abhishek expressed his excitement, writing, “This is going to be amazing. Can’t wait." For the second poster, he added, “Let’s goooo Aggie!!!” Navya Nanda also shared her reaction to the announcement.

Agastya Nanda’s first look from Ikkis released

The makers of Ikkis have unveiled Agastya Nanda’s first look and announced the film’s release for December 2025. Agastya will portray Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal, the youngest recipient of the Param Vir Chakra. Maddock Films shared the poster on Instagram with the message, “On the birth anniversary of Arun Khetarpal, Ikkis, a story that will forever stay in our hearts, is wrapped. Dinesh Vijan and Maddock Films present #Ikkis, directed by Sriram Raghavan, a true untold story of the youngest officer recipient of the Param Vir Chakra. In cinemas December 2025!”

Ikkis teaser teleased

The powerful teaser opens with a poignant letter from the 1971 Battle of Basantar, informing Arun Khetarpal’s father of his son’s death in action on December 16. The message offers condolences for the family’s loss. Following this, the teaser depicts intense war scenes in dark silhouettes, interspersed with glimpses of Arun Khetarpal courageously battling on the frontlines.

Abhishek Bachchan was last seen in I Want to Talk, Be Happy, Housefull 5, and Kaalidhar Laapata. Meanwhile, he and his wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan have filed a Rs 4 crore lawsuit against Google and YouTube for allowing their images and videos to be used in deepfakes and unauthorized AI-generated content. This legal action puts the couple alongside Amitabh Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, and Jackie Shroff, who have also secured protection of their personality rights against such misuse.
