Rishab Shetty on what to expect from Kantara Chapter 1
The 42-year-old filmmaker had previously shared insights into what audiences can expect, promising that the upcoming film will feature moments as impactful as the unforgettable climax of the original. In an interview with Pinkvilla, Shetty revealed that Kantara: Chapter 1 includes a sequence that he believes will leave a lasting impression on viewers. “Definitely,” Shetty confirmed when asked if the prequel carries emotionally intense scenes. “Every film industry, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and even those beyond India, has shown me great appreciation. Kantara: Chapter 1 dives deep into historical folklore and is set during the era of the Kadamba dynasty. The film explores mystical elements such as Bhuta Kola rituals, dense sacred forests, and a dramatic conflict between a fearless warrior (played by Rishab Shetty) and a ruthless prince named Kulashekara (portrayed by Gulshan Devaiah).The trailer teases visually striking cinematography and an intense narrative steeped in mythology.
