
Heavy rains have caused landslides in the Mohana area of Gajapati district, Odisha, completely cutting off communication with approximately 20 villages. Large boulders have fallen on roads, blocking them. Authorities are working to remove the trees and boulders.According to the locals, the situation has become more serious due to uprooted trees, leaving a large number of commuters stranded.Continuous rains in Gajapati have disrupted normal life. The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert in seven districts, including Puri, Gajapati, Rayagada, Koraput, Ganjam, Kalahandi, and Kandhamal.Meanwhile, an orange alert has been declared in 17 districts, with heavy to very heavy rainfall expected.According to the met department, the continuous
