Shah Rukh Khan Showed How To Do The Ba***ds Of Bollywood Climax Scene, Reveals Lakshya: He Loves Cinema So Much...
Times Now
Actor Lakshya recently opened up about his admiration for Shah Rukh Khan and the invaluable lessons he learned from the superstar while shooting The Ba***ds of Bollywood. The rising actor revealed how
SRK personally demonstrated a crucial climax scene on set and shared how deeply the superstar’s passion for cinema has inspired him, both professionally and personally. Lakshya said that every interaction with Shah Rukh leaves him more motivated than before.
SRK inspires Lakshya
Talking about how much Shah Rukh inspires him, Lakshya told Raj Shamani, “Bhai sahab wo aadmi kya hai yaar, unhone jo inspire kiya na mujhe life mein. Unki jitni bhi TED talks hain, jitni bhi motivational speeches hain - ki neend bhool jaoge, sona kitna hai, khana kitna hai.”(Brother, what a man he is! The way he has inspired me in life, his TED talks, his motivational speeches, where he says work will make you forget sleep, food, and everything else.)He continued, “Yaar wo abhi jab aap us path pe nikal pade ho na, ki wo banna hai, aapko samajh mein aa raha hai ki haan yaar ye sab karna padega. There is nothing called smart work, you know, utilise your time, need the right people, bhai wo grind karna padega aapko.”(When you start walking that path, wanting to become like him, you realise you have to work hard. There’s no shortcut or ‘smart work’, you have to grind.)Praising Shah Rukh’s dedication, he added, “Tab samajh mein aa raha hai ki yaar ye star jo sir ne achieve kiya hai wo aasaan nahi hai, bahut mushkil hai aur bahut mehnat lagti hai uske liye.”(That’s when you understand that what he has achieved isn’t easy, it takes immense hard work.)
How SRK helped Lakhya film The Ba***ds Of Bollywood climax
Sharing a memorable on-set experience from The Ba***ds of Bollywood, Lakshya said, “Hamara shooting ke dauran hi kuch scene tha hamara, to wo aise hi aaye the baat-vat kar rahe the humse, and Aryan was directing. To unko bahut interest tha, because he loves cinema and he loves films so much. To unhone ek scene explain karne ki humein bataya tha, aur ek action scene tha, ki wo main aata hoon, main girta hoon, that last scene, the pen and paper uthake ki ‘Contract meri kismat nahi tay kar sakta Karishma.’”(During our shoot, there was a scene and SRK just walked over and started discussing it. Aryan was directing, and Shah Rukh showed immense interest because he loves cinema so deeply. He demonstrated the final action scene where I pick up the pen and paper and says, ‘A contract can’t decide my destiny, Karishma.’)Lakshya continued, “So that scene poora unhone karke dikhaya mujhe. Maine kaha sir aap nahi bhi karte to bhi main samajh jaata agar koi stuntman karta ya koi AD karta karke dikhata. But he loves cinema so much ki unhone poora karke dikhaya mujhe wo scene, ki mujhe lagta hai na Lakshya tu thoda aise kar, thoda waise kar. And he loves doing that.(He acted out the entire scene for me! I told him he didn’t need to, if a stuntman had done it, I would’ve understood. But he loves cinema so much that he wanted to show it himself, even suggesting how I could tweak my performance.)Reflecting on his bond with SRK, Lakshya added, “Unse aap jitni baar miloge na, aap kuch na kuch unse lekar hi jaate ho. Wo hamesha aapko inspire hi karenge. And he is all about you, he is never about himself.”(Every time you meet him, you take something away. He always inspires you and never makes it about himself.)Lakshya’s heartfelt anecdote not only shows his admiration for Shah Rukh Khan but also explains why SRK continues to be the ultimate symbol of passion, humility, and hardwork in Bollywood.
