Why is it Zhao Lusi's acting comeback?

Zhao, the star of Netflix's hit show Hidden Love was rushed to a Shanghai hospital on December 18 following a suspected case of severe depression or some neurological condition due to possible work-related stress. She was diagnosed with Dissociative Conversion Disorder and her videos showed her facing difficulty with eating, speaking and standing. While her road to recovery received massive support of fans, she eventually accused her agency Galaxy Kuyu Media (KU) 'exploiting her during illness.' She even revealed how the company resorted to exorcism instead of ensuring that she receives medical help following a suspected case of severe depression or some neurological condition due to possible work-related stress.Zhao had reportedly shot for Love's Ambition before hitting a personal and professional slump. Why is the show in trouble?

Love's Ambition features actor Fan Shiqi in a small role. Despite high ratings, a section of the viewers slammed it for casting Fan, who's been under scathing attack for his alleged involvement in the death of Eternal Love star Yu Menglong. Many are even demanding a ban on the show.

Fan Shiqi's role in Yu Menglong's death

According to reports, many netizens are demanding a boycott of five names, Gao Taiyu, Song Yiren, Mikey Jiao, Tian Hairong, and Fan Shiqi accusing them of allegedly being involved in the Yu's tragic death.Yu Menglong reportedly hosted a small get-together on the night of his passing. He called some of his friends, allegedly also including Fan. Those in attendance have now been accused of playing a part in his demise. Though police rejected anything doubtful or anyone's involvement, Yu Menglong's death was pronounced as an accident, though it has raised many questions among netizens after viral video clips surfaced from moments before his fatal fall. While many netizens allege a foul play, some have even raised the names of the above five people who were apparently at Yu's apartment during the incident.
