According to a report in NDTV, the fire broke out on the fourth floor of the building, where the two boys were alone at the time. Per the police officials, both children died from suffocation due to the dense smoke that quickly filled the flat.Neighbours noticed smoke pouring out of the apartment and rushed to intervene. They managed to break down the door and rescue the boys, who were found unconscious. Initial investigations suggest that the fire may have been caused by a short circuit. "The drawing room was completely destroyed by the fire, and there were burn marks in other parts of the flat as well," said Superintendent of Police Tejaswini Gautam.
