what turns out to be a shocking turn of events, two children have died due to a massive fire that engulfed the Deep Shree apartment complex in the Anantpura area of Kota, Rajasthan. A recent report suggests the fire incident claimed the lives of 10-year-old television actor Veer Sharma and his 15-year-old brother, Shaurya Sharma.

According to a report in NDTV, the fire broke out on the fourth floor of the building, where the two boys were alone at the time. Per the police officials, both children died from suffocation due to the dense smoke that quickly filled the flat.Neighbours noticed smoke pouring out of the apartment and rushed to intervene. They managed to break down the door and rescue the boys, who were found unconscious. Despite being rushed to the hospital, doctors declared them dead on arrival.

Cause of fire suspected to be an electrical short circuit

Initial investigations suggest that the fire may have been caused by a short circuit. "The drawing room was completely destroyed by the fire, and there were burn marks in other parts of the flat as well," said Superintendent of Police Tejaswini Gautam. Station House Officer Bhupendra Singh also confirmed that an electrical fault is believed to have triggered the incident.

About Veer and Shaurya Sharma

Veer and Shaurya were the sons of actress Rita Sharma and Jitendra Sharma, a faculty member at a prominent coaching institute in Kota. At the time of the tragedy, Jitendra was attending an event in the city, while Rita was in Mumbai.Veer had made a name for himself by playing Lakshman in the mythological TV series Shrimad Ramayan. He was also cast to play a young Saif Ali Khan in an upcoming film. Shaurya, his elder brother, was a bright student preparing for the IIT entrance exams.In the aftermath of the tragedy, the family made a generous decision to donate both boys’ eyes, offering the gift of sight in the face of unimaginable loss.
