Alaya F Shares Why Krrish Was 'Childhood Defining Moment' For Her, Recalls First Meeting With Hrithik Roshan - EXCL

Life has come full circle for Alaya F. The young actress got into Bollywood because of Krrish (2006), starring Hrithik Roshan and Priyanka Chopra. And now, Alaya is starring in Storm, Hrithik's web series

debut as producer. The Srikanth star spoke about how the Hindi superhero film changed her and recalled her first meeting with its hero, Hrithik.

Speaking with Zoom, Alaya shared that she was not into Hindi films before Krrish. She said, "I was never really a big Bollywood fan the way people are. But then I saw Krrish and I think that was like a childhood-defining moment for me because it established two of my most favourite actors for me. I remember after that, I was obsessed with Priyanka Chopra and Hrithik Roshan. I feel like that was when I really started enjoying the industry. I know most people have their entry into being Bollywood buffs much earlier. Mine, if I'm being very honest, started there. Krrish was my initiation into Bollywood in a big way."

Years later, she got a chance to meet the Krrish star and almost blew it. Alaya recalled, "I remember being completely in awe of him, and then I remember my nana [Kabir Bedi] was shooting Kites with him. My nana was not used to me being very enthusiastic about any industry-related things at all, but I was like, 'Oh my god, I want to meet him.' So my nana was like, 'Sure,' and he took me to the sets one day, and he introduced me to Hrithik Sir. And I went mute. I did not say a word, and I was yapping before that. My nana was like, 'Say something.' And I did not say a word. That was my first interaction. Later on, many years later, when I met Hrithik sir, I spoke a lot. Alaya shares update on web series Storm

The actress will join Parvathy Thiruvothu, Srishti Shrivastava, Rrama Sharma, Saba Azad, Ashish Vidyarthi, and Rajit Kapur on the Amazon Prime Video series Storm. Directed by Ajitpal Singh, Alaya F had an update about the upcoming series. She revealed, "We haven't started shooting yet. But everyone is really lovely and has great energy. They're all people that I'm extremely happy to be collaborating with. I'm really looking forward to the whole process. I think it's going to be great fun."
