Magudam Controversy: Amid News Of Vishal Taking Over Film, Ravi Arasu Asserts He Is The Director

director, Ravi Arasu. Today, on 16th October, Ravi Arasu has refuted claims of being 'replaced' by Vishal.
Magudum: Vishal Says 'Don't Want To Comment' After Director Ravi Arasu Refuses Claims Of Being Replaced
In an interview with Times Of India, Ravi Arasu, he dismissed the news, calling it "fake news". He said, “There's nothing to worry. I'm directing the film, and the fifth schedule will begin after Diwali.” On his social media handle page, the director also posted a picture of him at the Tiruchendur Murugan Temple, where he prayed for the success of the film.
However, Vishal didn't seem to be on the same page as Ravi Arasu, he said "Movie is almost in the last phase of shoot and coming out good. At this point, wanna concentrate on the output and don’t wanna comment on anything right now, but all I would say is I never let my producer down for any reason and make sure I deliver a good film to everyone. That’s my goal and criteria now."
Actor Vishal plays the lead in this film along with Dushara Vijayan and Anjali. Previously, Vishal revealed his looks for the project. Taking to social media, he shared a post which read "And finally, happy and elated and excited with full-on positivity to reveal the first look of my next film #Magudam in Tamil and #Makutam in Telugu. Hope u all like it. Completed the 2nd schedule n bak to Chennai. More surprises awaiting in the near future. Love u darlings"The film marks the 99th production of production house Super Good Films, backed by RB Choudary. The title teaser features a sequence involving various sea creatures, followed by scenes of a harbour and heavy shipping containers. The teaser has a shot of Vishal, overlooking the harbour. The film features music by GV Prakash, cinematography is by Richard M Nathan, and editing is by Srikanth NB. G Durairaj is the production designer.
