Dhanush Opens Up About His 'Angry' Viral Photo: I Got Carried Away

during an promotional event of his film Kuberaa, actor Dhanush was seen giving an angry, and fierce look, while high-energy beats from Raayan played in the background. Soon, the image of the actor seen in a furious mood went viral on social media. At at the audio launch of Idly Kadai, Dhanush was asked about the viral photo, and audiences were thrilled to know about his response.

Dhanush Calls Viral Angry Photo Embarrassing

On stage, Dhanush called the moment "embarassing", Dhanush said he got "carried away" the moment a kids started singing a song from Raayan. Dhanush said "Many times, we'd be talking to someone or listening to some inspiring music, actors sometime start performing for it without our knowledge. When the kids were singing the song from Raayan so well, I started thinking about the character and the preparation I did for it. I got carried away. People who are close with me know about this... it was embarrassing," he said.

Dhanush, who was last seen in director Sekhar Kammula's Kuberaa, will be seen in Idly Kadai's release which hits screen on October 1. The film's star studded cast features Dhanush as Murugan, Nithya Menen as Kayal, Sathyaraj as Vishnu Varadhan, Arun Vijay as Ashwin, Samuthirakani as Marisamy, Rajkiran as Sivanesan, Shalini Pandey as Meera and Parthiban as R Arivu.At the audio launch of Idly Kadai, Dhanush also spoke about his childhood memories associated with his love for idlies that made him choose this title. "As a kid, I always craved Idlies every single day, but I couldn’t afford them. So we started collecting flowers from the neighbourhood. The money we get will be based on the amount of flowers we collect everyday. My sister, cousins and I would wake up at 4 am to do this for two hours," he said.
