Randeep Hooda Breaks Silence On Laal Rang Sequel: Looking For Proper Partners To Do Justice

In a recent interview, Bollywood actor Randeep Hooda spilled beans on the potential sequel of 2016 release Laal Rang after he teased the script reading with director Syed Ahmad Afzal in February 2023.

In an interview with HTCity, Randeep Hooda expressed, "It is one of my favourite movies as well. I would love to do that film but not in a half-hearted way neither like how shamble we shot the first part. We are looking for proper partners to come on board with us and do the justice to the first part that is not less than a cult." Earlier in April 2025, Randeep Hooda took to his official Instagram handle to celebrate 9 years since the film's release as he wrote, "9 years of Laal Rang — and the love still runs deep. What started as a bold story became a cult classic, thanks to you. Here’s to the blood, brotherhood, and the bond that’s only grown stronger over time. Randeep Hooda, Akshay Oberoi and Piaa Bajpai star in the lead roles. Set in Haryana, the film depicts the theft of blood from blood banks and how the lives of two friends involved in the trade get affected. The film was released on 22 April 2016
