
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Friday mourned the death of singer Zubeen Garg, calling him “one of Assam’s favourite sons.” Best known for the hit song Ya Ali, Garg reportedly died in Singapore during a scuba diving excursion.Taking to X, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote, "Today Assam lost one of its favourite sons.
