The
popularity of KPop Demon Hunters is not slowing down. EJAE, Audrey Nuna, Rei Ami, who sing the songs of Netflix's top animated hit, made their first TV appearance on October 4 singing Golden live on Saturday Night Live. The singers joined host Bad Bunny in a comedy skit about KPop Demon Hunters being real. Cast members Bowen Yang, Mikey Day, Chloe Fineman, and Sarah Sherman were also part of the sketch. The NBC show, celebrating its 51st anniversary this year, posted a video on X (formerly Twitter) and wrote: kpop demon hunters: based on a true story. Puerto Rican singer Bad Bunny hosted the show, while Doja Cat was the performer of this opening episode. EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami were the surprise guests on Bad Bunny's hosting gig as the singers appeared as KPop Demon Hunter's girl group HUNTR/X in a sketch featuring Mikey Day, Chloe Fineman, and Sarah Sherman. Bad Bunny played a character who believes HUNTR/X are real demon hunters. Luckily, Bad Bunny is able to summon HUNTR/X, aka EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami, who come out singing Golden, complete with backup dancers. For most of this past summer, Golden dominated the Billboard Top 100 charts and reached no. 1.While this was their first live performance on TV, the trio of singers are making their official debut on October 7 when they will be appearing on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.
