In his post on Twitter, Chiranjeevi shared a picture of him along with Major Ramgopal Naidu, along with the caption "So delighted to meet Major Malla Ramgopal Naidu, who won the "𝓚𝓲𝓻𝓽𝓲 𝓒𝓱𝓪𝓴𝓻𝓪" for his extraordinary gallantry in Arunachal Pradesh (Aug ’23).His act of valor at such a young age is a beacon of inspiration for generations to come. What humbles me the most is knowing that this brave soldier, who stood tall for the country, also holds me close to his heart as a fan. My heartfelt gratitude for his affection and warm memories. May God bless him & his family abundantly."

For the unversed, Major Malla Rama Gopal Naidu of the Indian Army (Rashtriya Rifles) was honoured with the Kirti Chakra Award, India’s second-highest peacetime gallantry award, for neutralising four terrorists and saving the lives of army personnel at the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir on October 26, 2023.

In recognition of his bravery, the Government of India conferred the Kirti Chakra Award on Rama Gopal Naidu, which he received from the President of India, Droupadi Murmu, in 2024.Major Malla Ramgopal Naidu hails from Nagaripenta village in Santhabommali mandal of Srikakulam district. He is the first person from the Telugu-speaking states to receive the honour from the Indian Army.On the work front, Chiranjeevi will soon be seen in Vishwambhara. Written and directed by Mallidi Vassishta and produced by UV Creations, the film stars Chiranjeevi, Trisha Krishnan, Kunal Kapoor, and Ashika Ranganath in lead roles. He is working on Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu. He is set to collaborate on Srikanth Odela. Referring to the megastar as “T-Rex,” the director said “I will bring him back!”
