Her fame has reached such heights that Bollywood actress Sushmita Sen recently shared one of Paramjeet’s BBC interview clips on her Instagram story, captioning it “#wow” with several emojis.

Back in July 2025, Paramjeet Kaur had given an interview to BBC. In the interview, she shared, “My name is Paramjeet Kaur, but my name as an artist is Param. I didn’t choose rap—I didn’t even know I wanted to pursue it. When I was studying in college, some of my friends used to write and sing. I got inspired by them to try it. When my friends heard my music, they liked it and told me I should continue. So, I started making music. I don’t want much; I just want to support my family. I want to build a home where my parents can rest.”Her mother, Jaspal Kaur, also spoke to BBC about her daughter’s journey, saying, “I always wanted her to sing and make us proud. We are working hard for her, and she is very hardworking too.
