Back in July 2025, Paramjeet Kaur had given an interview to BBC. In the interview, she shared, “My name is Paramjeet Kaur, but my name as an artist is Param. I didn’t choose rap—I didn’t even know I wanted to pursue it. When I was studying in college, some of my friends used to write and sing. I got inspired by them to try it. When my friends heard my music, they liked it and told me I should continue. So, I started making music. I don’t want much; I just want to support my family.
