CEO Encourages ‘Customer Obsession’, Brags About Employees Working Till 2 AM On Friday; Post Backfires

At this point in time, hustle culture has turned into one of the most divided matters. On one hand, hustling and grinding is the one way to work and live a good life- for some people; on the other hand, a well-managed work-life balance is the only key to a healthy and happy life. A similar debate yet again erupted on social media, after a US man- a CEO- took to his LinkedIn to brag about the hustle culture of his organisation. As per the post, the man- Cyrus Shirazi- received an urgent call from a last-minute client at 6 PM on a Friday. However, ‘unlike other firms’, Shirazi’s company welcomed the challenge wholeheartedly- as one of his employees worked for the client till 2 AM on the said Friday night. Bragging the same, the man advocated for ‘customer

obsession’ and encouraged people to choose his organisation when or if needed.The post went viral in an instant, leaving netizens reacting in all kinds of ways. Most found the incident absurd and chastised the man for bragging about making his employees overwork. Meanwhile, some wished the CEO all the luck to ‘take his company to the top’.Times Now could not confirm the authenticity of the post.
