At this point in time, hustle culture has turned into one of the most divided matters. On one hand, hustling and grinding is the one way to work and live a good life- for some people; on the other hand, a well-managed work-life balance is the only key to a healthy and happy life. A similar debate yet again erupted on social media, after a US man- a CEO- took to his LinkedIn to brag about the hustle culture of his organisation. As per the post, the man- Cyrus Shirazi- received an urgent call from a last-minute client at 6 PM on a Friday. However, ‘unlike other firms’, Shirazi’s company welcomed the challenge wholeheartedly- as one of his employees worked for the client till 2 AM on the said Friday night. Bragging the same, the man advocated for ‘customer
obsession’ and encouraged people to choose his organisation when or if needed. The post went viral in an instant, leaving netizens reacting in all kinds of ways. Most found the incident absurd and chastised the man for bragging about making his employees overwork. Meanwhile, some wished the CEO all the luck to ‘take his company to the top’.Times Now could not confirm the authenticity of the post.

“My team worked until 2 AM to save a client's Series A. Last Friday at 6 PM, we got an emergency call from a startup. ‘Our bookkeeper just went MIA. We have a board meeting Monday morning and need our finances cleaned up. Can you help?’ Most accounting firms would say: We'll get to this next week. Our team said: We'll handle it tonight. Daniel Laufer, CPA worked until 2 AM Friday night:• Reconciled 3 months of messy books• Built a clean P&L and cash flow statement• Created a board-ready financial summary,” the post read. “Monday morning: The startup's board meeting went perfectly. They secured their Series A funding. This is what customer obsession looks like at Haven. We don't just provide accounting services. We provide peace of mind. If you need financial support that's actually there when you need it, DM me. This is exactly what we built Haven to provide,” the post further read. The post was shared on LinkedIn, by the handle ‘Cyrus Shirazi’. The post was shared 4 days ago and pulled almost 1K views from people.
