Recently, Anoop sat down for an exclusive conversation with Zoom and shared how he received praise on his work from none other than Pushpa himself, Allu Arjun and how it changed his life. Thakur also shared how in the future, he wants to work with the 'legend himself,' Amitabh Bachchan. Recalling his work with Allu Arjun, Anoop said, "Allu Arjun sir recommended me because he loved my work. As I come from North India but I surprised him by preparing all my lines ahead of our shoot and he was so impressed that he suggested my name to a few directors, including Prabhudeva sir. A recommendation coming from Allu Arjun sir is a huge thing in itself, it's a compliment, it's a feedback in itself." The Controll fame also shared how Allu Arjun is "one of the most secured actors in the industry, as only those can recommend new faces to filmmakers." Further, he added, "They are seniors, they are complimenting your work, that is what gives you motivation that whatever I am doing, I am doing it right. All my previous roles were from different films that I was trying to do. I was doing Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada, all simultaneously. So I think whatever language I have worked in, I have got a lot of interest in Hindi."

When asked about which Bollywood actor, actress or director he would like to work with in future, Anoop laid out his carefully curated list. "There is not just one director, but if you ask me, Anurag Kashyap is somebody that I would love to work with as an actor. Because an actor wouldn't be hungry to work with somebody like Anurag Kashyap. An actress I would like to work with is Shraddha Kapoor, because she is a very good actor, as well as a very beautiful looking actor. And another co-actor that I would like to work with is, Amitabh Bachchan sir, the legend himself," he concluded. Anoop is best known for his work in Romeo S3, Dharmarakshak Mahaveer Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, Dhritharashtra in Mahabharat and South films, including Yajmana, Rogue and Naa Peru Surya, Naa Illu India, among others.
