71st National Film Awards: Vikrant Massey Wins Best Actor, Director Vidhu Vinod Chopra Accepts Best Feature Film For 12th Fail

Manoj Kumar Sharma, won two major awards. The Hindi movie was named Best Feature Film, and actor Vikrant Massey shares the Best Actor honours with Shah Rukh Khan for Jawan. Both Vikrant and filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra were present in New Delhi to receive their awards.
12th Fail honoured with Best Feature Film and Best Actor
Vikrant and his 12th Fail director were all smiles as they accepted their Silver Lotus Award (Rajat Kamal) and Golden Lotus Award (Swarna Kamal) honors, respectively, from President Draupadi Murmu on stage. At the 69th Filmfare Awards, 12th won five awards, including Best Film, Best Director, and Best Actor (Critics) for Vikrant.Earlier, Vikrant had revealed his thoughts on winning his first National Film Award: "It’s every actor's dream to win a National Award. I would be lying if I say that I never wanted one. But I'm glad that finally, a big dream has been fulfilled," he shared.The actor, however, acknowledged that such recognition also comes with responsibility. "There’s a bit of pressure too, with this recognition, which is the highest form of recognition any actor can get, to go out there and better myself as an actor, to tell better stories, to represent the common man," Massey said.

Thank you for being my guiding light. Just how teachers should be. I love you. Happy Teachers Day too. @vidhuvinodchoprafilms." He shared a photo with Chopra on the sets of 12th Fail.
