Vijay Rally StampedeTamil Nadu Director General of Police G Venkataraman cited overcrowding, delays, and lack of basic facilities as key reasons for the tragedy.He explained that the crowd grew much larger than expected after Vijay's party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), announced on social media that he would arrive at noon. According to the latest reports, 12 men, 16 women, and 10 children lost their lives in the tragic incident.Meanwhile, Vijay took to social media to express grief. He tweeted, "My heart is shattered; I am writhing in unbearable, indescribable pain and sorrow that words cannot express. I extend my deepest condolences and sympathies to the families of my dear brothers and sisters who lost their lives in Karur.
