Venkatesh Daggubati's Telugu Blockbuster Sankranthiki Vasthunam To Get Hindi Remake With Akshay Kumar: Report

Venkatesh Daggubati’s blockbuster Telugu film, Sankranthiki Vasthunam, is reportedly being remade in Hindi. The action comedy directed by Anil Ravipudi became the second-highest-grossing Telugu film of

the year. As per estimates, the film earned between Rs 250 crore and Rs 300 crore worldwide.

Akshay Kumar to star in Sankranthiki Vasthunam's remake?

According to OTTPlay, Akshay Kumar has given his nod to the Hindi remake of Sankranthiki Vasthunam. A source told the portal that the Bollywood superstar loved the Telugu film and decided to remake it after watching it. Dil Raju, who backed the movie, will also produce the Hindi remake.ALSO READ: Sankranthiki Vasthunam Movie Review: Venkatesh, Anil Ravipudi’s Film Is Intermittently Funny As per the portal, the female leads for the Hindi remake are yet to be locked as the casting process is still underway. Reportedly, it was supposed to go on floors earlier but got delayed due to Akshay’s prior commitments.
