In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Rahul recalled the early days of their collaboration. Rahul said he was taken aback when he first met the Telugu superstar. “Jab maine unko dekha na, main ghabra gaya. Maine socha, yaar yeh hero hai? kala, naachta hai adhbudh, emotion laata hai, kamaal!" (Translation - When I saw him, I was shocked. I thought, Is he really the hero? He was over 95 kilos back then, dark-skinned, but danced beautifully and brought so much emotion to the screen. Dev went on to praise Jr NTR’s evolution, especially his recent appearance with a chiselled physique. “I just saw a video of him with six-pack abs. I’m so proud of him. He’s super lean now, completely transformed!”The actor also reflected on how Telugu cinema has changed over time. “Back then, the films were loud, over the top. But when you work in that environment and see the love people have, you realise you’ve been blessed - like Goddess Saraswati herself has touched you. Some actors become irreplaceable.”

Rahul Dev is gearing up for his next big release, Welcome To The Jungle, directed by Ahmed Khan. The film boasts a star-studded ensemble including Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Sanjay Dutt, Anil Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, Jacqueline Fernandez, Disha Patani, Lara Dutta, Shreyas Talpade, and Tusshar Kapoor. It is slated for a theatrical release in December this year.On the other hand, Jr NTR fans have more to look forward to.
