of Stranger Things season 5, fans received possibly the biggest plot twist when Max and Vecna got together on the same couch, happily tuning in to watch season 2. In an interesting mashup, the makers of the show posted a clip of actors Sadie Sink and Jamie Campbell Bower calling each other to watch the show as Sadie was getting "bored." This is part of the Netflix megahit promotional campaign that kicked off recently, as it prepares to release is fifth and final season this November.

Sadie, Jamie are on the same couch!

On October 6, the official Instagram handles of Stranger Things posted a video where Sadie is calling Jamie over the show's signature walkie-talkie. She says, "Sadie to Jamie. Do you copy? I'm bored. Over." Jamie replies, "Me too. And I'm never bored. Over." Saide comes back, "Should we watch Stranger Things 2.?" To which Jamie says, "Let's do it. Over and out." Just then the camera goes on a mastershot and we see both are actually sitting on the same couch, in the backdrop of the show's famous wall of alphabets with colourful bulbs that Will and others used to communicate with the real world when they got stuck in Upside Down. Sadie and Jamie then pick a remote and press a button, as the iconic Stranger Things tune plays.

Fans react to Max and Vecna being 'best friends'

Seeing both Sadie and Jamie together left netizens reacting with comments like, "plot twist: vecna and max become best friends," "GET THOSE TWO AWAY FROM EACH OTHER," "Not the villain and victim being besties in real life," "Are we having Max bonding with the real Henry inside Vecna’s mind or something?," "She’s going to have the best time escaping his mind again," and "Plot twist: Max invites Vecna to the movies with her and Lucas."

Cast calls fans to rewatch Stranger Things before finale

The team of Stranger Things has been posting videos of its cast getting together and watching its previous season, and asking fans to join the watch party too.
