You know it’s festival season in India- when people randomly start dancing and singing at places which were never meant for celebrations- without getting a single eye raised! For the last few days, the internet
has been witnessing quite a number of videos of people doing garba or other such folk dances- to express their excitement for Navratri- one of the biggest Hindu festivals that began 5 days ago, on September 05. Seemingly, the craze is so huge that, along with new videos, even old videos of people dancing are resurfacing. One such old video that found its way back into trends and headlines was THIS; a clip of a group of men doing garba inside the Mumbai Local train. Most looked elderly, but their hearts were sure young enough not to give a care in the world while flaunting their garba moves. The clip soon gained online attention. Most loved the spirits that were being displayed in the video, while some questioned the group’s ‘civic sense’. Times Now could not confirm the details or the authenticity of the post. Navratri, on the other hand, began on September 22, and will end on October 02. It’s Navratri Day 5 today- September 26. This day is dedicated to Goddess Skandamata, who is believed to be another form of Goddess Durga.
