Elon Musk owned X (formerly Twitter) has released a new feature that lets users sync drafts and allows them to work on a draft on their smartphone and directly move it to the web. Head of product at X,
Nikita Bier, announced the availability of the feature though a post on the platform. He wrote, 'Drafts written on the X app will now be there when you log in on the web.' This feature was a much awaited one as the users wanted this synchronicity from a very long time now.On the X app, users will now be able to sync drafts on the iOS and web apps of the platform. The feature will be pretty useful for users who work on PC and sometimes leave their workplace or home and want to continue their work on their phone. The feature was first spotted on X Lite a week ago and is not being released for all X users.
When Will The Feature Be Available For Android Users?
As of now, the draft syncing is only available for the web and iOS version of X. Nikita Bier has announced that the company will be soon launching the feature for Android smartphones. It is being said that X is working on the redesign of its Android app, a sort of complete overhaul, and with that, we will get to see the sync draft feature. As for the timeline, speculations are that the feature will be rolled out for Android smartphones by the end of this year. However, one thing that the users should know is that there are still some limitations with the feature. For example, the feature will not help the users in sync media as of now, and the functionality could be exposed to bugs as well. That being said, in the future, we may get to see the sync media feature for X posts as well for all three platforms - Android, Web, and iOS version.
