In an interview with People magazine, Leighton Meester spoke about her character Abby on the Netflix series. She shared, "I don't know what I can tell you, but I do inevitably stir up some drama there. Obviously, I am a huge fan of the show for many reasons, but I've been so lucky to get to know everybody involved, ... [and they've all] been so kind and welcoming; I was really taken by everybody's kindness and their talent, and how that whole show came together."

She added, "I know that everyone has so much fun on it, and when I went on, I mean, it was one of the most fun times that I've had on a set. I also know somebody on it." Not only is Meester working alongside her husband, but she also has a Gossip Girl reunion of sorts with Bell, who played the narrator on the teenage drama.ALSO READ: Nobody Wants This Season 2: First Look At Kristen Bell, Adam Brody's Mushy Couple; See PicsMeester is set to play Abby, a former middle school nemesis of Joanne's, in the new season.
