
At least 18 people have died after a massive landslide in Himachal Pradesh’s Bilaspur district buried a private bus under heavy debris on Tuesday. Several passengers are still feared trapped as rescue operations continue.Bilaspur Deputy Commissioner Rahul Kumar confirmed to Times Now that the death toll has risen to 18. Three passengers have been rescued alive so far, while around 30 people were on board the bus at the time of the incident. Search and rescue teams remain on site, working to locate and assist those still trapped under the debris.Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu expressed condolences over the Bilaspur landslide incident. He assured that the state government stands firmly with the affected families and will provide all possible
assistance during this difficult time. A video from the site showed a JCB clearing debris as several men worked frantically to rescue trapped passengers. The footage revealed a torn section of the bus, its wreckage bearing the full impact of the mud and rocks that had slammed into it.
